Regardless of the other two. You are forgetting that as long as the Dems get the House, investigations will begin. Mueller could end up DoA with RR gone but the House will go after everything Trump has done in his first two years.
So you have to consider that the Republicans will be energized by the Dems having power.
The entire game changes. Whoever the Dems need probably won't show up until 2019 when the investigations start.

What makes Biden the best candidate to beat Trump? In the previous election I had many people tell me that the reason they voted for Hillary in the primaries was that she had the best chance of winning the general election. She then went on to lose to an idiot.

breh, hillary lost because people fukking hate her. whether it was fair or not doesn't matter. there is a certain subset of the voting population (both dem and gop) that for a variety of reasons just do not like her and either stay home or actively vote against her. they do so even though they probably agree with her on policy issues. substitute the same policies with a different person - especially one that won't be painted as someone beholden to corporate interests, and that person will win.
