I'm bored waiting for the Stock Market to open in a bit and was thinking of the Rumble and whats next. Thinking of whether or not I want to bother watching Raw tomorrow or not. So I remembered that the EC was coming up next and figured it'd be interesting to give some thoughts on some possible scenarios.
So tomorrow on Raw Drew comes out and cuts a promo talking about his win vs Goldberg. Edge comes out and says that Drew already beat one legend, lets see him try to beat another one thats much better. So they get locked in for mania. I can see Sheamus challenging him at EC or Fastlane in an unsuccessful attempt but not sure. Then with Bianca challenging Sasha, that leaves Asuka without a challenger. So they book a number one contenders EC match between: Alexa, Lacey, Lana, Naomi, Nikki, and Peyton. That could be done next week with Smackdown on Friday. So you have Bobby Lashley and the US title. He say's he's defeated all challengers and can do it again. So he gets booked in an EC match with: AJ, Braun, Drew Gulak, Elias and Ricochet. If Sheamus doesn't challenge Drew then switch him with Braun or add him and make it a #1 contenders match.
So then on Friday on Smackdown Roman says he still the tribal chief and doesn't look to have an opponent at Mania and might as well take that day off. Then Adam Pearce comes out and says they will find him a challenger at the EC. So he books an EC match between: Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, Seth Rollins, Shinsuke, and Jey Uso gets snuck in there thanks to some fukkery by Roman and/or Heyman. With Cesaro or DB winning and going on to headline Mania vs Roman. Then you have Big E the IC champ. More fukkery ensues and a fatal 4 way is booked between him, Apollo, Sami, and Ali at the EC. Apollo wins the belt. Then E and Ali start a feud and have a match at Fastlane. This leads to the New Day vs Retribution match at Mania. Then Big E goes on to have a big main event push and finally wins the WWE championship at SummerSlam defeating either Daniel Bryan or Cesaro.
Those are my thoughts. Feel free to add yours and make it more interesting than whatever WWE may have planned.
