Some people have irrational expectations, like wanting a whole celebrity superstar with charisma as a black judge. Like how some women like Tupac in a Business Suit.

She’s giving judicial answers like the judge she is. They’re trying to back her into saying something that can be used against precedence in other cases. What amazes me is that many of these senators are lawyers who weren’t really trial lawyers and never went before a high court, even in their state. Many of their clerks and staff are lawyers who are writing these questions for them. The Republicans are pretty much asking questions for sound bites that they can use later. Same for some of the Dems trying to look like they’re allies saving the poor black woman from these white attackers. My hat’s off to Judge Jackson for being apple to handle this.

most laymen don't get why she would answer like this, they fail to understand that definitions and language and wording make the legal world go round. words as people use them in everyday life may take on a different meaning in a legal context. so i understand why she was like "go ask a scientist"
