Im disappointed that none of the games are in my area to go to in person. I was looking forward to seeing a couple good South American squads face off, or a South American squad go up against Mexico or the US.

US got no chance. I think argentina or colombia(depending on there defence) going to win it all. I pick uruguay as my darkhorse that backline of gimeniz and godin :whoo:

Lowkey I think Jamaica could beat Mexico

Mexicans have had a tough time with island boys lately

I;e Trinidad and Jamaica

Not to say it's impossible, but I think the door has closed on that.... both Jamaica and Trinidad had their chances to give México that work in the Qualifiers and in the Gold Cup, but couldn't close the deal. I was rooting hard for them too!

Congrats that he signed a league one deal with Hamburg.... I tried to find reasons to dislike him because I wanted Terrence Boyd to have next, but looks like injury will keep him from realizing his true potential... such a shame. I hope he makes the team, regardless if Jozy is there or not. Wood is on fire!

Hell, even Jordan Morris would do better(and he hasn't had a great rookie season given his talent).... I haven't been able to watch a lot of MLS this season, but I believe Jordan Morris has more goals from the run of play than Altidore, who doesn't get to take PK's. If that isn't an indictment, I don't know what is!

Looking at the Brazil selection and this may be the worst Brazilian team I've ever seen.

Well, you gotta understand what Brazil is doing... and this is Dunga! He prefers more defensively sound football and less "ginga," so his tactics will reflect that. Brazil don't ever want another German style blitzkrieg like they got during the World Cup. Even though they've stopped crying :russ::bryan:, they haven't forgotten.

US got no chance. I think argentina or colombia(depending on there defence) going to win it all. I pick uruguay as my darkhorse that backline of gimeniz and godin :whoo:

Your sentiments mirror mine..... Uruguay, Argentina or Brazil. Darkhorse... Colombia.

México will be the only team from CONCACAF to make it out of the group stage.

Messi too skrong:yeshrug:

I agree, but they are a more complete team now. If they regain their World Cup form, then the Argentines easily win this tournament.

I voted Mexico, they are playing in home soil :patrice::troll:

I'm going to the Mexico/Venzuela game in Houston just to experience the atmosphere, since I can't catch Seleção in Orlando.

Those Mexicans are going to be losing their damn minds (I just pray I don't get stabbed

If I was in Orlando.....

I have them listed on Stubhub, but I doubt they'll sell.

I paid $250 for them, but I'll give all three tix away for 100 bucks if somebody on here wants them.

I have the same problem. The closest Copa America site to my location is Houston. I would have to visit family in LA , Tampa or Chicago to see a game.

Watch out for those piss filled balloons and beer cups!

Was just about to reply to your other post about Jozy with him in mind.

Going to see Jamaica/Venezuela at Soldier Field for the low cuz corner seats are cheap as hell:lolbron: :blessed:

Confirmed: Altidore out 6-8 weeks, will miss Copa America

:blessed:

Have fun at the match! @THEREALBRAND You too!

A special request if you feel like doing so(and for anyone that plans on attending a match)... post a few pics in the thread of the atmosphere. It'll make this thread lit!

this is too true. i dont know what it is , but they are absolute animals during a mexico game. i'd guess the second-generation wannabes go harder than even the natives cause they want to prove they belong or whatever. its an interesting phenomenon

Official rosters have to be turned in by May 20th..... I won't mind if someone drops a link to the final rosters. I'll be off, but probably sleep after my last 12 hour shift before the weekend.
