That last goal by Messi though, there was nothing Guzan could do about that one. That was just a brilliant kick by Messi. The perfect angle and trajectory of the kick. Messi placed the ball in an impossible area for Guzan to try and block.
The amount of time one has to react once that ball shows its self over the wall is probably less than a second easily. People don't understand.

Imagine an Argentina vs Portugal world cup:ohlawd:

Nani cool

Hey fellas,

Does anyone here know any of these die hard USMNT/MLS fans?:patrice:

I don't think I've ever met one of these guys:patrice:
I'm a die hard USMNT fan

That's the problem with people like you though. America is a massive bandwagon country and nothing will ever change that. Don't you think cause maybe cause we aren't the best the USMNT needs 5x the usual support? At least I see it that way.

This ends 2-2, 1 by Pulisic and 1 by Wondo, book it
Wondo trash so I will book that

Nah Guzan goofed on both goals breh

I wonder what this is. The Zardes family isn't any more special or richer or physically gifted or smarter than any other family.

What makes one brother be Nas's manager and the other a starter on the USA national team? Did his bro end up somewhere amazing by luck/work, and his brother got the idea to be someone special? How do you get two exceptional people in the same family, much less one without connections?

The love of the game man. Zardes just gotta get some dribbles under his belt.

Oh look, desperate Klinsmann makes the right changes after getting the lineup horribly wrong. Except this is actually a decent team that makes you pay.

I talked to Zardes and we talked about Nas got mad love for the kid and visa versa.

We def need an upgrade in middle field because if we have a better central mid field we can def open the game up

Not gonna say he's ass cause he isn't, but he doesn't do anything spectacular for Portugal. Let's be honest.

Not this tournament but he has done decent in other ones 2012/2006/2004

Yes he did. It was an awesome shot but a good keeper swats that away 4 out of 5 times, maybe 3.

At this point Argentina will take any cup they can win. They haven't won shyt in 23 years at the adult level (no Olympics) and have lost a handful of finals. In the grand scheme of things this Copa means jackshyt and they know it, BUT a win will be celebrated by them.

You are right though, if Messi frauds it up at the WC in 2018 he'll be thrown to the bushes for the 394th time by argentina's sports media.

Yep no doubt copa is a nice little trinket but the biggest and the most important trophy will always be the World Cup.

If messi/higuian finish their chances he would be GOAT.
