I suggest you pick a club team before the season and ride with them through a full season. Watching a team each week as they move up and down in the standings as they either 1. Try to win league 2. Try to qualify for Champions League 3. Try not to get relegated to the lower division, makes the sport much more enjoyable.

Yes, the flopping can be pathetic, but it doesn't outweigh all the positives of the sport.
