Eko Atlantic is an entire new coastal city being built on Victoria Island adjacent to Lagos, Nigeria, to solve the chronic shortage of real estate in the world’s fastest-growing megacity. It is a focal point for investors capitalising on rich development growth based on massive demand – and a gateway to emerging markets of the continent.

Standing on 10 million square metres of land reclaimed from the ocean and protected by an 8.5 kilometre long sea wall, Eko Atlantic will be the size of Manhattan’s skyscraper district. Self-sufficient and sustainable, it includes state-of-the-art urban design, its own power, clean water, advanced telecommunications, spacious roads and 110,000 trees.

That harbor is a terrible idea, it doesnt have enough space for many ships to go out.

As a nigerian i am going to say i will believe it when i see it.

Its getting there. The sand is plotted. And they are continuously developing the joint.

I was selling LPG up til December 2016 and my office was on Adeola Odekwu in Victoria Island...literally a 10 min walk from Bar Beach and Eko Hotel...this place is pretty much between those spots. It will be open within the next 5 years but best believe it won't be anywhere near those CG photos until 2040 or something like that.
