True genius, no matter what the discipline comes from a place of creativity. It's truly hard to be revolutionary in this day and age because the fundamentals of everything that impact daily life have been discovered; thats not a knock to the minds of today rather the discoveries pioneered now are built on the creations of yesterday's geniuses so its really hard to gauge. The best barometer would be how much smarter was Einstein over his contemporaries compared to the smartest minds of today over their contemporaries.

I equated human religion with imagination because 1) I'm not as invested in religion as I make it seem on here - I just fukk w yall because you all are ignorant fools who generalize entire concepts and people based on the actions of a few 2) The existence of an intelligent beginning to the Universe is possible regardless of religion. 3) We organically created languages, values, community and family structures, and ideas on leadership - so obviously our ideas and concepts about our existence are a result of our minds. However, we've luckily have been blessed with minds advanced enough to ponder these things and most of our greatest humans have determined that intelligence created intelligence.

Despite historians trying to downplay the role of God in these guys lives, they were both searching for answers. A.K.A. the creative juices were flowing. Newton actually wrote more about religion than he did anything else. Einstein believed in a God similar to Baruch Spinoza. Not a old man in the sky, but an infinite power that is beyond any human comprehension. Spinoza uses the word Nature instead of God. Nature being infinite and man being but a part of that infinite source. However, man can NEVER be the source.

Einstein was a theoretical physicist. He was never the mathematician that some of his peers were but don't get it mistaken, theoretical physics is a much harder thing to grasp. Math, applied physics, is objective and the rules are clear. Theoretical physics is much more abstract and murky.
