Heh true that. I've read through a like a million egg articles. But all the fat is in the yolk. But the yolk also contains a lot of essential vitamins, which makes it a double edged sword, because there some benefits in consuming the yolk.I swear that the verdict on eggs changes every couple of years.I did read that dietary cholesterol is not the one that jams one up, rather its the cholesterol that the body produces as a result of too much fat in ones diet. Not that one should go ham on it, but its not as devastating as the literature suggests. Idk though. I try to limit my egg intake to 1-2 times a week regardless.
The body does naturally produce cholesterol, sohh it doesn't really need an excess of cholesterol, but a lot it can / gets excreted through daily "waste". But too much saturated fat(yolk) can cause a buildup of plaque in the arteries, which can go on trigger various other chronic diseases....
