Yeah that’s what’s blowing me, people say Africa but really it’s just east Africa and on top of that it’s a small minority of people within east Africa. I have no Idea how that applies to the whole continent especially when we have no blood ties to these people outside of it just being cultural or by proximity.
If you understood west African, Central African, South African, history at its core we are mostly like not the groups they are talking about. It’s mainly the horners they are referencing.

In that essay, they said the French, Germans, Russians, and Italians were swarthy. All that could mean is that those white people didn't look like ghosts.

Too Anglo-Saxons anything slighty darker than them is considered black. Italians and Arabs were considered black to them at one point in time

So swarthy don't mean black. It means non-pasty/not a ghost.
