He's 100% right. Markelle Fultz done pulled a scam on all these analytics loving GMs. It honestly makes no sense to me how this dude has risen so fast in the rankings. I remember following this draft class all the way back in 2014 when they were in the FIBA under-17 world championships. The top players back then was Harry Giles, Josh Jackson, and Jayson Tatum. Even guys like Terrance Ferguson were getting love. And also Dennis Smith Jr.

This Markelle Fultz hype makes no sense to me. Typically the top high school players end up being the top draft prospects. How he surpassed all these guys while putting up empty stats on a 9 win college team makes no sense to me.

Late bloomer. Look at Sexton's rise last summer, same thing, they both showed out in U18.

If we go by shooting percentages then they're about even. Lonzo has no mid-range jumper though, and we don't even know how reliable his form will be at the next level.

I question if you've even watched much of Fultz if you don't think he's a good athlete, dude can get up off 1 or 2 and has elite body control.

Celtics just better hope the Nets are still horrendous. People forget they were bad last year due to injuries, when they were healthy, they were alright. But like you said, this basically just means Ainge wasn't high on Fultz.

while i like tatum and think he will be a solid player in the league, bos has a log jam at that position...drafting him would be pointless...i mean, they did just draft brown and he barely got to play....although i will say: i think tatum is gonna be better than brown.....
