Should you be told about the NJPW dojo and the young lions?
The New Japan dojo is brutal, but you could at least credibly argue that there's a method to the madness (strenuous nature of puro, respect for the business, etc.) and that it's the best way to implement those lessons in Japanese culture. Not saying you have to agree with it, or justify stories like Kensuke Sasaki bodyslamming a trainee to death, but a credible rationale is there.
What is really being taught by some overgrown Texas frat boy soaping up new guys in the shower that couldn't be better taught in literally any other fashion? Or two overpushed failures (I haven't watched Weber's video, but when she quit Orton had just come off his failed face run and world title win, and Edge was in the midst of his THIRD failed singles push before the Matt Hardy-Lita incident saved him) harassing a diva because she...decided to see a trainer? (Fun fact: This was also how Aaron Aguilera, who was Carlito's bodyguard Jesus for a time in 2004, got run out of the company. If I'm remembering this correctly, he saw a trainer for a back injury and got a reputation for being a "primadonna" because of it. You see, according to the locker room, he wasn't a big enough star to be getting constant treatment from trainers.) There's no reason for it beyond Bradshaw trying to boost his own ego and scaring the rookies straight, or something. You'd think playing young boy to the vets or setting up rings with the crew would be enough, but no. Not with these guys.
Man I'm glad we don't hear about this stupidity anymore.
