doing standup would require a shytload of work, and the expectations would be off the chart. probably figures he has too much to lose when he can do shytty movies on cruise control and keep cashing checks.

Yup. Everybody knows this and I think Eddie has been kinda open about it. He isn't really looking to make great movies or great art, he's looking to pick up them checks. Can't even hate on that. Kevin Hart is basically following in those same footsteps. But if you wanna talk people who are just naturally funny those guys are right there.

eddie can't give you the stand up your looking for because he is too damn rich and bougie. he lost touch with the hood and lost his edge. he does not have that fire that comedians have that really put their talent to new heights. all of these black comedians try to follow richard pryor, but richard never lost that connection to his people.

Hart has no classics/just went straight into that assembly line producingredients product. he is a naturally funny cat tho, I have to give him that.
