The Land That Time Forgot
Okay...and the original Coming To America was directed by John Landis.

And was co-written by Murphy's team of Barry Blaustein

And David W. Sheffield

Can somebody please tell me which were Eddie's best films with Spike Lee, John Singleton, Ryan Coogler or the Hughes Brothers at the helm? I'll wait.

Not surprised

U dudes didn’t see Nate Parker talk about how Hollywood wanted a white hero in birth of a nation and he said nah, that’s why he started to get black balled and people digging in his past..

He also said a lot of c00ns in Hollywood told him don’t do that type of movie and he was like:stopitslime::gucci::camby: it has to be told

Your point would hold more validity if it was a random white dude made for move purposes instead of an established character in BP. Regardless of whether he appeared in later films, you still would have been griping that a while dude was in the movie lol.
Did you consider the fact that maybe Ross was established in the BP comics for the same exact reason? :jbhmm:
Or do you think literature is exempt from :mjpls:

I don’t know the answer to that question and neither do you.

My point is that the character has been in the BP comics for over 20 years and before the new Marvel movie universe got established. So it wasn’t just a random white dude created just to be included in the movie. Don’t forget he was in the animated TV on BET as well.

For the record, Christopher Priest help create the Ross character.

It breaks my heart that people as established Eddie and Cube still don’t have control of their intellectual property. Generation X went far, but not far enough.

In their defense, the majority of Hollywood doesn’t have control of their intellectual property. Even big name actors don’t have the type of bread needed to finance movies on their own, which is where movie studios come in to foot the bill.

That’s just the game and how it works.
