seriously, what the NFL needs to do then, is create a long reel showing SEVERAL examples of how they think DBs should hit "defenseless" receivers & how not to.

And i guarantee it'll be a confusing ass video if they try to create it with several examples. How can a ref even determine it on the spot too?

It really needs to be examined closely because this is ridiculous.

Yeah they need to give these guys 100% clear guidelines so at least they can adjust and be able to play defense in a better way.

They don't want them big hits and it's obvious, but it's taking away from the defense more and more.

It hurts to see a league you grew up loving being run like a corporation.

Refs have been told, "when in doubt, throw the flag" so, you cant really blame the refs, they are doing what they are told. This is all godell. they have set it up where the refs dont have to know if its legal or illegal hit.
