If white privilege was the only thing for the success, there would've been several white rappers selling out several different albums at multi-platinum speed. None of that happened. Macklemore lasted as long as Vanilla fukking Ice.

Only Beastie Boys are the kind of white boys, other than Eminem, who had a long streak of making multi-platinum selling albums, but they went into other genres such as rock music long time ago.
