Middleton had struggled with injuries during the last few years and Jrue couldn't relied upon to be a #2 scoring option in the playoffs, so I can see why they'd consider bringing in Dame.

If they knew that Middleton would look like his old self during this past playoff series, then I doubt they make the move.
