I want to move product auction style. I'm drop shipping and I'm not gonna pay until I get paid..

1. what's a realistic time table I can give for shipping? I haven't used paypal in a while so how long does it usually take for funds to clear. I'm thinking about saying "Item will ship within 7 to 10 days upon receipt" I will throw in free shipping as well.

2. What's the best length of an auction? I want to run 30 total in 2 blocks of 15 auctions. Each auction in that block will begin and end at the same time. I was thinking no more than 2 weeks.

I would say best auction length is 5 days. If its an item that is a hot current commodity, then 7 days. Also start you auction in the evening. That way it will give people time to bid on it all that final day.

On shipping, I would say anywhere from 3-7 days is usually good if shipping free or ground.

I sold a few pairs of sneakers on eBay for the first time earlier this year, I shipped out a day or 2 after the payment was sent.... It took almost 2 and a half weeks for the funds to clear.

I'm buying 750 wholesale and selling for 1150. I'm doing like 15 at a time so I can afford to cop 15 before I get paid. I got a verified business paypal account with no restrictions so why would it take that long for the funds to clear?

Yeah if you are a new seller on eBay it can take up to 3 weeks for the funds to clear on Paypal.

Ridiculous, some new auction site needs to come up and take these clowns down.

Plus the double dipping is ridiculous...I recommend selling on Amazon.

Yea, shyt pissed me off, probably won't ever sell shyt on there again, I'll be better off selling sneakers on Twitter or thru friends, I like dealing with cash better anyway.
And those eBay fee's are retarded.
eBay is better for buyers, not sellers.
I didn't have a business account, just a regular verified account, so idk if your situation would be different.

I can take care of an auction on a Monday night, and have the money in the bank by Wednesday morning.

may paypal and ebay accounts are old though. at least 5 years. I just haven't used them shyts in years. So technically they're not new.

If it takes that long to get my money, I can send an item. the customer has it for a few days, decides they don't want it no more and dispute all before I get my fukking money.


And how can you drop ship with ebay if it takes them 2 weeks to give you your money. I'm gonna tell the customers I aint shipping out shyt until I get my money first. Its a business account, not personal.

i never used to have problems extracting my funds as soon as i got paid. but then i fukked up on shipping stuff i was selling for like a week. got like 5 bad feeds in a row and they put my account on limited

now i have a new account and u start off limited lol wtf

damn.. I just read that shyt.. they put limits on accounts but it doesn't look I have any restrictions... BUT..
