I guess I need to see more examples regarding Russ. He just seems like most of these athletes who are focused playing the sport and not wanting to be perceived in any negative light because they got a brand or whatever.

It seems Cam gives footballs to kids of all colors, though, and serves communities of all different colors. What has he done to be perceived as more black? I could be wrong because I don't follow these nikkas like that but was this week the first time Cam acknowledged that he's scrutinized differently because he's a QB who is black?

You pretty much nailed it. Russ wants to be liked and accepted by the masses which consists of mostly whites. He's not going to do or say anything that puts him in a negative light with those people. He's basically controlled by corporate white amerikkka. On the other hand, Cam doesn't seem to be willing to just go along to get along for acceptance. He does what he wants despite the masses viewing some of the things that he does in a negative light. Even the charitable things that he does seem to be from his heart and not just to appease the public. He's clearly much harder to control and that makes him the threat that Russ isn't. Russ would never play "the race card" so to speak while Cam boldly acknowledges the role that race plays in his perception.
