North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Nate looked really bad. We all know this. But I think Nate can learn from this and come back even better. Get a new trainer. He needs to learn pace and defense. Nate was just anxious and just in attack mode from the beginning. Pace yourself, feel your opponent out. Defend. Paul wasn't even trying to really hit him so early but Nate left himself wideopen. The first hit to the back of the head was from Nate being so wild and out of control. If anything, Nate shoud have used that athleticism to his advantage. Stick and move. But instead he tried to go toe to toe with Jake and just SMH.

fight should’ve been stopped after the first knock down. He never recovered.

it definitely should’ve been stopped when he was knocked down right before he was knocked out.

the ref did him dirty.

A 6’8 NBA player with 6’10 wingspan and 230 pounds would do more than ok. Just clinch and put your weight on him or jab and move. Like Jake Paul ain’t some knockout artist and the weight/size difference would be more than enough to compensate.

I’m not trying to play the guy, but Nate Robinson was one of the easiest NBA players he could of fought. shyt Nate was shorter, smaller than him too.
Nah breh. Just cause someone is tall, athletic and built, doesn't mean they can land or take a punch. Legit the taller they are the harder they fall.

Also basketball cats routinely got they ass whoopee when I was in high school. Nba fights always been trash. Keon Clark got washed by some normal sized cats.

Definitely, the ref let him go on after giving him slow counts, and giving him a lot of time after getting up.

I give Nate credit for going on after those 2 KDs when his face and body language looked like he didn’t want to, he soldiered on anyway, but the ref shouldn’t have let it get to that final KD.

They also were slow to get his mouthpiece out when he was out cold.

He looked like he had a concussion after the first knockdown. The ref took 15 seconds to count tl 9 lol.. He set him up for the knockout.

LOL sure, I dont think you know much about boxing, again size doesnt matter if you cant fight it also doesnt give you a chin. Further basketball players for the most part cant fight, there are some exceptions but overall they are trash with the hands there are some guys who could beat Jake Paul but they have ben boxing for years and actually train. almost all NBA guys dont have the footwork to get into a clinch, also clinching is a skill in of itself as is utilizing the jab (much less an effective jab) is not easy. I dont know if you just dont respect boxing or are an nba fanboy but you sound kind of silly.

the fact that your completely dismissing the size advantage of a nba athlete who is 6’8 with a 6’10 Wingspan to prop up a 6’1 semi pro boxer shows you got an agenda. Your completely ignoring the reality that as fighters move up in weight they lose stopping power because it takes more strength to be able to hurt opponents as you go up in size. The only person who in recent memory to do it successfully was Pacquia and it was the same reason everyone thought he was on steroids. Also Pacquia went up in weight to do that the height difference wasn’t even significant. A catch weight fight between a 6’8 NBA player and Jack Paul would be absurd to watch.

I didn’t even say the NBA player would do much, just clinch, to put there weight on him and jab to keep distance.

It’s obvious you want to get into a online back forth with the childish jabs you sent my way. I don’t get it, it’s sort of pathetic if you need to do that to feel like you know more.

But Nate is like 5'9 with hops. Thats not ordinary basketball stature. I never looked at Nate like some tall basketball player trying to box. He has the height and build of a boxer. He just didnt have the training and technique of a boxer

Nate is too short to be boxing at 181lbs.
