I don't know why nikkas is suprised Nate got dropped, basketball nikkas never had hands bro them nikkas used to be tall ass punching bags. :mjlol:

But Nate is like 5'9 with hops. Thats not ordinary basketball stature. I never looked at Nate like some tall basketball player trying to box. He has the height and build of a boxer. He just didnt have the training and technique of a boxer

It's still funny to me how many of y'all don't know shyt about boxing :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Been saying from the start of this thread how good of a boxer Jake is. Yes, Nate was trash, yes Jake has had more training than him. But the gap is due to actual talent.

Jake would beat a lot of low level pros like I said earlier in the thread. Stop guessing what other NBA player (especially nikkas that would be a two weight classes above Jake :martin:) would beat him, because they would ALL LOSE.

I was calling overhand right from the first 10 seconds of the fight because of how Nate was rushing in like an idiot, and thats all Jake had to throw. Thats someone who has natural boxing instincts and knows what to throw and when to throw it.

Even in his post fight interview he said overhand right like :yeshrug:. Easy work.

I'mma start asking y'all nikkas like Floyd Mayweather Sr. asked :skip: "WHATS A PULL COUNTER??"

:ohhh: Did Nate know this lol ?

So this was a wrestler who has been training boxing for 3 years vs a basketball player half his size?

I am assuming he said “ain’t no white boy, youtuber beating me” and then proceeded to get beaten

I would argue that most NBA players would be heavy weights or even super heavy weights and could eat his punches better and basically on size alone drag him.... but yeah boxing is a skill that needs significant training, stamina, and footwork.

It’s would be easier for soccer players to pick it up than any other sport.

A 6’8 NBA player with 6’10 wingspan and 230 pounds would do more than ok. Just clinch and put your weight on him or jab and move. Like Jake Paul ain’t some knockout artist and the weight/size difference would be more than enough to compensate.

I’m not trying to play the guy, but Nate Robinson was one of the easiest NBA players he could of fought. shyt Nate was shorter, smaller than him too.

Nate had 2 of the 3. Remember, he did play cornerback in high school and college. So the footwork was there. Nate just didnt use it.

that’s how it worked for Sergio Martinez
:yeshrug:

The footwork and stamina he got from playing Soccer made it possible for him to transition to boxing. He still had to learn to box, and offensively he was great for a few years, but as transitioning from one sport to another, soccer to boxing in my opinion is easier. Arguably footwork and stamina would help in any other sport as well.

Stop trying to stunt like you’re the only boxing fan breh

:ehh: You know what, I respect that. Perfect reference for that transition.
