agreed...to answer your question there is no GOAT #1 rapper for real......for anyone to say there goat rapper is the goat rapper and its not debatable is pure foolishness I dont care whaty rapper you talkin about. pac in my top 5....there are easily 15 rappers from all the eras combined people could tell me is there GOAT and I might not agree and can be objective and student enough of the artform to analyze and respect why they have cube, face, big, pac,nas,jay,krs,em ,kane,rakim, kool g rap, slick rick, ti, wayne, jeezy as ther goat ....hell I can go on with more rappers...only In hip hop do we create competition to point of degradation to our hip hop community as a collective instead of just fukkin enjoying our history, all the different styles and appreciating this shyt in general above all the territorial and generational divisivness..

okay....it just seemed like you hated pac. but yeah at the end of the day I don't hate big and I think is one of the best to ever do it.
goat list are pretty crazy cause everybody just put their favs anyway.....the only list you can really make that could be decent is an influential list from a pioneering point.
im curious to have your thought on new York rap? why do you think it took such a hit in the mainstream?

White America/white execs pushed southern party music to the main stream. Molly is music non threatening & not saying anything to them & whites eat it up. Hip hop used to about what you were saying & if you couldn't rap you were shown the door which is the way it should be. Nowadays if you can dance to it then it's a hit no matter what they're saying.

Yeah X started in the late 80's or early 90's but didn't get serious about it until the around mid 90's. K-Solo stole one of his styles & X hated him for that. K-Solo's song called Spellbound bit off of X.
