Very much blown out of proportion. We have more rainy days then a lot of places, but less actual inches of rain. Seldom does it ever rain hard here. Just sort of a mist. November, December, and January make up half of the total inches of rain for the year so the rest of the year is pretty mild. Lots of partially cloudy days here which means that for a quarter of the day there are clouds in the sky which kind of skews what can be considered sunny days here.
I'm an amateur photographer so I love days where there is sun and clouds in the sky. Makes for amazing sunrises and sunsets. All of these pics are considered partially cloudy days here even though the temperature is in the 60-80 range.
No snowstorms, no humidity, no hurricanes, or tornadoes.
