Im in Ann Arbor til I graduate in May, lived in MI my whole life, Im done with cold weather after this winter. 4 months out of the year you actually want to avoid going outside, its no way to. Trying to go to Cali for grad school.

I've lived in Minneapolis, Seattle, Chicago, San Fran...

I love MN, but the weather I experience in Cali just trumps all of the other quality of life aspects that the Midwest offers.

Also, people talking about earthquakes and shyt. Let's be honest, weather and disasters are getting worse everywhere, Hurricanes are shutting NY/NJ down...

Two words: Natural Disaster

I rather drive on snow and a little ice for 2 months out of the year, then experience deadly hurricanes, tornadoes, and dust storms in the south and deadly earthquake tectonic shifts on the west coast

It's not that bad but winter here does suck.

If I could earn in what I earn here down south, I'd move. Easy.

Not going west, tho. East Coast runs the world. :birdman:

You do realize there are places that have legitimate 4 seasons that don't have any of the cons you mentioned?

Exactly. I could tell alot of these posters never visited and only know about the East Coast from the weather channel :bryan:
