East vs West: Who has the better hood movies?

did new jack city even have a setting as to what city it was?

and if that counts as a hood movie, then I'm throwing in movies like south central & blood brothers '93.

... Correct me if I'm wrong but new jack meant the younger generation that was apart of that scene at the time . Back then they had the new jack swing era so it blended the three together... Cop movies with new jack swing sprinkled with crack

If you're putting in comedy then yea, I gotta give it to the West, it's a toss up otherwise.

It's a different feel depending on where you from. If you from the East, them west coast movies are like exotic bytches, foreign films if you will. Vice versa for cats from the West.
