Yeah, but EA is taking short term success and fukking up long term profits in the process. Their standing in the community is only getting worse, and with a launch this bad of such a major franchise I have trouble believing people will give them the benefit of doubt in the future.

Truth. They are inventing ways to screw up established franchises and fanbases they have. They just don't care. :trash:

This launch has been a disaster on all fronts. Someone who was calling the shots is being looked at like  at the offices right about now

It is more than likely patched to play offline (and save locally to your hard drive too). Just no multiplayer, but I don't mind that.

Some games I have paid for I pirate anyways and use the legit CD Key there if the DRM is too harsh. I get hassle free install and play with online components.

But that goes to show pirates always win in the case of the excessive DRM. Everything is patched up easy and out of your way and the customers suffer with the servers and cloud connect bullcrap.

No they don't. Diablo 3 still can't be played offline, successfully.
it can be played offline with no loot drops, whats the point?

Im sure they will do the same thing for this game.

I hope this sets EA way back. People should not buy from this shytty company. Let them learn the hard way from their lack of foresight.
