Somebody needs to release just a lineup of college games for every sport. I remember I had some college baseball game for the original x box and it was amazing. Soccer, basketball, hockey etc would all be amazing games if you're recruiting and building your own teams
It's such an easy formula
Most of us prob don't care but I'm sure there is a younger demo that it appeals to that wanna hear/see their fav player exactly like IRL. Plus it gives more opps for the players to continue eating.
All they have to do is a decent create a player type ish that you can download other folks roster. For WWE 2k23 i just download create a wrestlers that other people do. I remember in the past ncaa on ps2 I would buy like memory cards from this dude on a forum that had all the names off rosters
Almost positive there will be an option for those who do. Someone will put out accurate rosters just like the last game. They are still making current rosters.
This game will be ass for sure but I admit I'll probably buy it off nostalgia and online play. H2H can still be fun on mediocre games like with FIFA.
They are about to make a ton of money off this, assuming they can get enough former players to sign on.

This ultimate team card collecting shyt is the reason these sports games are all falling off so hard. They probably make a shyt load of money from dweebs who buy packs in that and ignore actual gameplay and other modes
I agree with this except I'd say EA has never really been good at gameplay. It's caused them to ignore offline modes like franchise.
Ultimate Team and maybe Online Dynasties would be the only things they put effort into. Offline play on EA sports games (vs the computer) is dead in 2024.

thats what worries me and i havent even played madden in probably at least a decade. so i cant speak to how bad its technically gotten but it seemed when i stepped away that every year football games got more and more gimmicky. icing the kicker having a tangible on screen effect was the last straw for me. its low down on the list but even visually fg attempts look terrible compared to older generation.
im not hyped for it but yeah ill get it too. something about playing with your favorite college team.
With AI it shouldn't be. I'm old school and stil prefer offline gaming although the coli dynasty league was piff. I like taking some scrub ass school and finding gems recruiting.
