EA's NCAA Football is back

Some interesting tidbits in here

- There will be an Ultimate team, of course with their greedy asses

- Real player names will most likely be in the game, if they can’t get the players names, you won’t be able to download rosters like in the previous games and there would be no team builder either

- RTG hasn’t been confirmed yet, but of course there will be a Dynasty mode

- FCS schools won’t be in the game at launch but may be added in a DLC, hope they can at least get the SWAC schools and higher profile FCS schools

- If players are included in the game, all will get paid the same amount unless you’re a cover athlete

- This will NOT be a Madden re-skin, although you should be able to transfer your draft class to Madden

As long as they get Dynasty mode right I don't give a damn about the rest of that stuff.

downloading rosters didnt get them in trouble iirc. its the fact that their unnamed players on the default roster were too close to their real life counterparts. having said that now they would be opening themselves up to future lawsuits arguing they are providing their consumers with the means to profit off of the likeness of players if they didnt make a deal with individuals or the equivalent of a players association. so thats probably why they'd be weary of roster sharing if the default rosters are generic.

I liked the games as much as the next person but I’m not going to be mad at him when clearly he was in the right.

Yeah that stinks, if you can’t download them I hope you can at least edit them locally on your own console, I’ll just do it my damn self.

If they allowed roster sharing again, they’d get sued like crazy and that’d be the end of the game again so EA is just protecting themselves.

honestly I play dynasty mode for years, by the time you 2-3 seasons in like 90% of the players in the game are gone.

All i care about is the schools the bowls and recruiting and playbooks.

make everyone 7 foot tall and green and allow us to edit players and we'd be good. I mean this isn't fifa or nba.

U jus ignore the entire sentence? The problem was clearly NCAA, not EA. CLC and the NCAA were the ones truly exploiting these nikkas, he made the video game the subject of the lawsuit which eliminated the games

U think EA wouldn’t pay for legitimate licensing? Why did they strike deals with sports with even less revenue than NCAA D1 football?

The NCAA wasn’t selling a video game using kid’s likeness. Whatever you may think of everything else outside of that, the core issue was using someone’s likeness illegally.

The NCAA dumb ass rule made it illegal to pay the kids but that’s doesn’t then mean all bets are off and anyone can use their likeness for whatever.

You know nobody forced EA to make them players look like the actual people with their numbers and everything.

It doesn’t matter if the players weren’t vocal against it. It was illegal, end of story. You can’t do that shyt anywhere else, and the ONLY reason you defending it here is because you liked the game.

Game already sounds like it will be terrible.

Facts watch they take out everything people love about ncaa 14 (RTG, dynasty mode,roster customization, conference realignment,team builder and recruiting) EA is legit WOAT at making football games but hopefully it will come out on pc and I will just customize the game myself
