That game was super deep. Down to thw cheerleaders having the team logo sticker on their face and uniform. Then they took that out on ps3 cuz they "didnt have time"

Also, if you remember on regular ps1, those versions had a Senior Bowl. I always liked that bc going thru the dynasty you'd see all these players at other schools putting up great stats, and that senior bowl finally allowed you to use play with them

That OG ps2/original xbox NCAA was craccccck!!! Take a small school, HBCU, or a create-a-school and start off in Division 2/small conference, recruit you ass off, win games, then get invited to a D1- P5 conference and then struggle a bit, then win on that level, to bowl games, then finally to the NCAA National Championship Game... Either that or a big school will hire you

That game had all the stages down pat. You only got 2 star recruits maybe a 3 star if you're lucky early on in Dynasty. Until you're turning away 5 stars because your loaded with top tier talent. Hell the off season recruiting and signing was just as fun as the actual season playing the games





-They better have some schools in this new game

i turned Idaho and Villanova into 7 time champs

only problem was the game got repetitive once you unlocked a school with a title/heisman or two.

Only people I didn’t beat was MMS and Shug. @Rekkapryde let Shug dumbass talk him into fukking up the conference alignment when I was at Florida. Didn’t even play Tennesse no more when that happened

Also had half empty stadiums if your team was trash or there was a blowout

Plus there stuff like sanctions being placed on you if you didn't suspend a player if they fukked up

Dynasty Mode was still really fun in the later years but I hope they add that depth to the next game, to your first point about no commentary for the smaller games, since most games are on tv now maybe they could have two commentary teams, the A team and a B team.

This to me was the GOAT multiplayer football games. Hell I remember me and a couple of friends wouldn't even play the games in one league. We had one league where we'd pass the memory card back and forth to get the games played. The other was while hanging out we'd just do our recruiting and sim the weeks back when it took 5-10 minutes to sim all the games for one week. Loved having all teams start as 1 or 2 star schools and one of our school would break out and dominate for a few years since we moved up in star ratings which improved our recruiting and would dominate until the others caught up. Nothing like those recruiting battles where all of our schools were involved. Eventually had to ban starting with schools in Texas, Florida or California as it was too easy to recruit above our star ratings.
