Everyone talks about society and how its deteriorating, and "what about our children" and all this stuff...and whats going on in the middle east



Am I the only one that thinks were heading to an overall better world? Think where we came from...taking over and forming "America"...Slavery and overcoming that...Womens rights...all the advances we have overcome and adopted here in the United States (tons of setbacks mind u)...just overall becoming better in the United States (lots of draw backs, but heading in that direction "very f uckiing slowly" in the big picture, but still)

With the use of the internet and the spread of cultures...The world is so f uck ed up now..but u see these people standing up to oppression in other countries (not to say they havent before) but I feel like it means more now and can get more done nowadays than before

I just feel like everything will progress in more of a positive nature than a negative nature (with obvious setbacks...but compare them to the history of the world...its not sh it)

its not to say there wont be more wars..and drugs...and all that shyt...but compared to what? Not too long ago the world was exterminating jews

I dunno...I think things will always be a little f ucked...but progressing in the right direction regardless

Nope. If you knew what was really going on right now you'd pray that the 2012 predictions were right. So we can all be offed mercifully.
-Governments worldwide are becoming more corrupt. Democracy is worthless when lobbyists can buy votes.

-The uprisings in west Asia and north Africa will lead to opressive governments at best and civil wars at worst.

-Monsanto and other conglomerates are genetically modifying foods and buying up more farms to grow the GM foods. Nothing wrong with genetic modification, but if you're not doing it right because you want to save money(which all corporations want to do) then people are put on a higher risk of dying.

-There will never be a point in history where 99, 90, or even 80% of people have jobs. The earth is becoming so populated that there is no guarantee your children will not end up homeless.

-Climate change. As Asia continues to industrialize, they will not do it greenly. They'll want to save money and as a result, guess what? more GHG emissions up in the air. Furthermore countries are going BACKWARDS in terms of renewable energy. Germany is shutting down its nuclear power plants for example because of he fukushima disaster. People will lose jobs and the air will become more polluted.

-To save money in America, companies will ship jobs overseas. Any politician that tries to convince you that they can get a company to create jobs for people is lying. The goal of a business is to make money. fukk loyalty to the country. If they can save millions by shipping jobs away to people who will work for less in a foreign country, guess what they're going to do?

-The virtual recolonization of Africa. Countries are buying up farmland in the continent to grow crops which will be sent back to their home countries. The Africans get nothing. The Asians are doing business with corrupt governments or dictators and guess what? the money gets spent on luxuries for the few. Although the GDP of certain African countries like Ethiopia is on the rise, the gini coefficient is not levelling out. This means the rich are getting richer and the poor are staying poor.


-The continued extinction of species. Last year we lost the west African Rhinoceros and there is a growing amount of animals being shifted from 'least concern' to 'vulnerable' status. Sad fact:the last of a specific breed of turtle died recently.

-Islamic terrorism isn't going anywhere because leaders refuse to talk to the terrorists to figure out why they're mad and to stop doing shyt that pisses them off. Terrorism is really poppin off in Africa too right now.

-College is becoming more expensive, which means less educated people, which are of course easier to control. The people who ARE going to college are only going so they get that piece of paper that says "hire me" instead of going to actually expand their minds and shyt. Even if you have a degree its about WHO you know and not what.

-Continued WASTE of tax payer dollars by politicians. Peep this:

Tech is evolving yeah, but who can actually afford to apply it? we can have tiny nuclear reactors that will solve our energy problems, but because of fear of nuclear meltdowns and shytty policies by governments, we won't be able to see that happen. Fun fact: Africa could become HUGE and our energy problems could be solved with some solar energy farms that are strategically placed but guess what? that shyt aint happening.

Bottom line: Earth globally in 100 years will be a lot better off than it is today, based off of our evolution as a species

We're NOT moving in the right direction though. Diseases are killing us and because of shytty food people are either dying or starving. People are so focused on money that its costing people their lives. Why should a company create something that will cure cancer or Aids when they can make money with treatment centers and supplements? There is no incentive for them to actually cure people. Fun fact: People are STILL dying of leprosy, malaria, and polio. POLIO NICCA. The cures for these drugs are ridiculously cheap, but people are STILL DYING from them most of which are in Africa, Asia and Latin America and they're kids too . More people are getting locked up in the US and kids are growing up without fathers. People are divorcing more too. Nobody gives a fukk about family. These people get depressed and turn to drugs and end up getting addicted. If they can't get high off illegal drugs, they'll get high off legal shyt(see bath salts) and when they get high, they go crazy and do some shyt like EAT SOMEONE'S FACE. Regular people are getting doped up from prozac and other antidepressants and thats fukking up their attention spans. You have drugs that are meant to help you deal with REGULAR PROBLEMS. In the past they would've told you to just take a break and get your mind right, not take drugs. But guess what? nobody has time to chill because they have to work harder to barely make rent.


Terrorists will continue blowing people up because nobody wants to dialogue with them and because governments are more focused on making money, people will get mad because they cant get enough money to feed their kids and will become hopeless about life and turn to terrorism in an attempt to overthrow their governments.

Racism in America is becoming more inflamed, and racism in Europe is on the rise. People who have the skills to improve a country are being turned away because they don't look "european".

Look at mexico, look at what that country is turning into. People getting beheaded in the fukkin streets. 20 or 30 years ago shyt wasnt that bad. Think about America, the amount of debt is increasing by billions each year. How is that shyt going to get paid back? the space program's budget is being cut, you're going to be learning less about outerspace.

Human knowledge is being stifled. You can't be curious when you're focused on SURVIVING.

I mean shyt even look at the earth. A solar flare could fukk us up and hundreds of asteroids that could've destroyed the planet have barely missed us. If an asteroid the size of texas were to approach the earth, or the sun were to give a huge solar flare, there wouldn't be shyt we could do about it. The only reason the earth isn't dust is because we've been real lucky/God hasn't decided to end us yet.
