I just listened to the consensus best song Motion :mjlol:

that hook is fukkin awful

the lyrics are literally nothing

the beat is not bad. Mixing is awful tho

The flesh a vessel, I'm not obsessed with death
I manifest what's best, I'm ghetto tested, bless
I'm havin' motion like an eighteen-wheeler out on a turnpike

I’m having motion like a 18 wheeler :mjlol:

this is vintage Nas to yall?

im scared to listen to the rest of the album if this the best song

West Coast shyt, nikka overdoses, imperial pistols, ferocious
Explosive, East Coast shyt
Motion like Flavor Flav in that I Ain't No Joke vid

^
:dahell: huh? That shyt is definition of lyrical miracle. A whole bunch of nothing. Y’all just got to be in love with his voice or something

Dudes swore Jay didn’t matter in 96 because he wasn’t plat like Nas Pac & Big. Even tho his album got the same scores as Nas IWW

My my my how the tables have turned

Jay Z was a nobody in 96 (even tho he had a gold single/album)
2pac and Biggie had to die for Jay to have a career. Nas didnt need that..

He doesn’t promote albums, his label and team is wack(when it comes to selling music) at a time he’s making some of the best music in his life.

Mass appeal don’t make no moves in terms of actually getting artists who are popping artist development and selling records, they’re literally a boutique label at this point.

If people like that crazy girl on Twitter is part of his team no wonder his doing 20k when he has the potential to do 50k every album.

It was always a boutique label.

The only rappers in Nas's age group capable of doing big numbers are Em, Jay, and maybe Dr. Dre if he actually announces an album and that's it.
Jadakiss and Fabolous too.

Not big numbers but they call sell at a comparable rate to current artists.
