EA is trying to boost revenue and stock profits.
They have to pay NBA fee every year regardless and the price just went up.
So they outsource because NBA games are developed for 9 months out of the year.
Madden dev team is more stable because the NFL is strict and they prefer Madden now as a brand.

Well now all the real good developers are starting to jump ship from the outsource companies EA was depending on to revamp NBA LIVE.
NBA is about feel and realism in the game AND EACH GAME HAS TO BE UNIQUE DIFFERENT OR NBA CAN REJECT IT.

Now they have a garbage NBA LIVE that look terrible in HD, because they don't want to overpay the real deal experts to come in and rebuild the game system to play better than NBA 2K.


NBA LIVE IS NOT DEVELOPED IN HOUSE AT EA SPORTS.
EA PAYS FOR D-LIST OUTSIDE DEVELOPERS AND NBA LEAGUE LICENSING SHUT THEM DOWN BECAUSE ALL EA DOES IS COPY AND PASTE OLD WORK AND SLAVE DRIVE 2 YEARS WORTH OF WORK FROM OUTSOURCE PROGRAMMERS IN 9 MONTHS TIME fukk NBA LIVE.

I wish video games were like music......when an artist is so close to completion of an album and doesn't release it usually there is gonna be a bootleg version that will end of being circulated around the internet. I wish we could get an underground bootleg version of NBA Live 13 and alot of other unreleased games. Imagine that?
