Perfect example of how used games are hurting the industry--the series will be brought back when used games are banned.

I would assume that a good chunk of people that are "sad" to see this series go are waiting to buy 3 used in a few months when it goes from 54.99 to 29.99. But if it dropped day 1 digital ONLY for 30.00, and stayed at that price for a year, they would be picketing their local sony store for "violating their consumer rights."

This is going to be the future of video games, until used games are banned. Unless a game bills itself as a "must have, day-1, multiplayer EXPERIENCE," single player campaigns and franchises will go by the wayside. It's why Assasins Creed has adopted the "madden model." Ubisoft releases the pirate version of that game this summer at a price point of 60, drops ac3 to 35, and ac2 to 30, (all new.) Those games have the same engine, same game play, same everything, but you go to the store, look at them on the shelf, and it gives you (as the consumer) 4 price points to enter the market in as a consumer. Hopefully, youll bypass the used games entirely, and just say "f it, ill buy ac3 for 35$"
EA is basically saying, we're not going to adopt that model with dead space, when were already doing it with our sports and shooter franchises.

Someone saying "Im gonna go dust off my NES."

Do you realize how many of those quirky NES titles wouldnt even see the light of day in todays video game world? Star Tropics, maybe my favorite game ever made, would never have had a sequel green lighted.

Bottom line, if you value unique single player experiences in video games (like dead space,) you should be hoping that used games are banned sooner, rather than later.

They need to just release the rights to Dead Space and let someone else develop it. That game got ruined after the first one.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Fpse Piff. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emulator.fpse I have tried NFL blitz , NBA on NBC, metal gear, crash bandicoot, mk4 , thps, MVC, they all work flawlessly. No lag. I have a app for free roms but I prefer using Vimm's Lair: Preserving the Classics for everything. They have everything. Using the ds3 with emulators is :noah: you can even use it for standalone games like max Payne, gta3, mw3, etc etc.
