That's the unfortunate thing about a lot of these dudes when they pass...

They were awesome when we were kids just watchin' them on TV, but then you get older and find out they were terrible. And that doesn't mean the ones who had their own personal issues, but the stuff they did to other people including their own families and in his case, even animals. So it's like, if you had a dirtbag neighbor who did this shyt, you'd want nothing to do with them, so why pay tribute to this guy just cause he was a dope wrestler? I respect the fk out of his in-ring innovations and I dug the Bulldogs as a kid, but gotdamn, what a piece of trash. R.I.P. I guess, but he brought his last years of life all on himself.

Here's some things from the top of my head:
  • Pulled a gun on his wife and threatened to kill her on multiple occasions (while she was asleep...)
  • Dislocated his wife's jaw with a punch and told her to leave with the kids within 15 minutes or he'll shoot her
  • Fed drugs/steroids to Matilda, the dog the British Bulldogs would always come out with
  • Shot up a handicap kid with air/steroids
  • Bullied wrestlers by shytting in their bags, cutting up their clothes, locking up their suitcases, etc.
  • Sucker punched Jacques Rougeau when he stood up to the bullying and busted his nose open, but Rougeau ended up knocking that mufukka's teeth out later & made him fall back :heh:
  • Squirted lighter fluid under a bathroom stall and lit it on fire with Giant Haystacks inside
Yeah from what i remember she'd wake up and he'd have a gun pointed at her head, then he'd pull the trigger and say "One day this will be loaded"

Bret's book is such a good read

There's no way I can feel sorry for dynamite , he's a real piece of sh*t and people like him will never get sympathy from me
I've been meaning to read Bret's book for a long time but from what I've heard the shyt is so depressing I'd need to mentally prepare myself for it first:picard:

Rip to the KING of the vanilla midgets. One who wasnt that vanilla.

Threads funny cuz nooone seems to care even tho this guy basically created the blueprint for all these guys today to break their bodies in half. But he did it wit style.

Legendary bully/tough guy in the locker room when that behavior was necessary. For being a small guy. That means he was prolly a savage. All wrestlers seemed to respect him in wwe cept punk ass jacque rougeau

Diana Hart's book put me on to how trash he was as a person. Then all the shoots, and especially the Rougueax (sp?) shoots. If you believe in spiritual stuff, it's like Karma got his ass early.

Obviously he was a scumbag

But was also quite possibly the goat technical wrestler

In hand sight he was insane and for better or worse changed the style of light heavyweight wrestling to a more dangerous and realistic style

Benoit took his wrestling style and scumbag ways to another level
