Well this isn't a generality conversation and is much more serve then the average " I wanna be your friend" type parenting. The suicide rate for transgender children is well over 50%. I'm sure as a father wade rather have his son in his life then lose him over a battle of gender. Wade might not agree with it truly might not respect it but at the end of the day having your child around is better than losing them forever

You're either gay or an agent. You're putting way too much emphasis on having sexual access to children. You simply care way too much about sex. The issue here is the child being 12 years old. In every other facet of child rearing, a parent can be scrutinized except when it comes to sex. You can legally be punished as an adult for whooping your child under the guise of child abuse. You leave your 12 year old at home by himself for a week and you can legally be punished for child neglect/abuse. Parents even get scrutiny for making the decision to vaccinate their kids or not. But allowing your child to take hormone injections and testosterone blockers before hitting puberty is applauded and championed? Kids are much more than their sexual decisions and watching all you adults type excuse after excuse for it is disheartening and disgusting. Trust me, nobody in that boy's inner circle was shocked about his lifestyle, so who in the hell is he "coming out" to?
