:wow: I can't lie and say I'm not getting some enjoyment out of your and the LWO's current state of misery...and that I hope it lasts forever. :skip:

But you're absolutely right. If he didn't already, this is going to be the straw that makes Kobe appreciate Shaq being back under the C spot for those first few championship years. Think about it, this nikka ratted on Shaq after he got caught putting it in some Colorado girl's booty hole. He threw Shaq under the bus when he got in trouble. And Shaq still ain't respond like this. And even though Shaq also sent subliminals (and some directs :mjpls:), too, the Lakers still won. This current team can't win unless Dwight gets to toast Kobe's marshmallows in a camp fire while the rest of the Lakers softly serenade them with sweet songs of kumbaya. Your "gawd" doesn't deserve this. :lolbron:

Kobe and Shaq had real drama and they were able to put that bullshyt aside to dominate on the floor. If the fallout from that rape situation (alleged :skip:) was indicative of the animosity that was apparently simmering in their relationship for the duration of 96-04, it's fukking damn impressive what they were able to accomplish. :whoo: This 2012-13 team can't win unless Dwight is doing bullshyt like this.

real recognizes real. Shaq went at Kobe way harder than this. He wasn't about this powder puff shyt "we have to play like friends". Nicca was like "Give me the fukking ball or come grab these fukking rebounds and block these fukking shots yourself". Whenever Kobe used to start jacking up shots, Shaq used to let it loose. shiiiiiit even Gasol went at Kobe harder than Dwight.

If you don't call out Kobe publicly, directly and often nicca will keep business going as usual. Thats what Phil and Shaq used to do. Kobe is my nicca but he be on some masochistic sometimes man. Like why do niccas have to call you out so viciously for you to play the right way? :wtf:

Where Buss fukked up is that there's no nicca on this team that can challenge Kobe. Dwight might be the best center in the NBA but he aint no alpha. Lebron is about this Kumbaya shyt too but Dude would have checked Kobe a long time ago :pachaha: if Kobe kept trying do things his way while knowing it wasn't working.

guys...im more pf a casual basketball fan, always went for the Nets but those last couple of years in jersey burned my soul esp. with brook always being injured and my coworkers giving me the :kobe: everytime I tried to say he was nice. But yeah, more of a football/baseball guy so pardon my ignorance but...

shouldnt it be on the coach to dictate who the offense is run though? Shouldnt he be the guy drilling it in there head on what they need to do to be successful? I saw a stat where the Lakers at one point were 7-1 in games Kobe had under 25 and were abysmal when he scored 25 or more. I know stats arent always trustworthy but that seemed pretty telling.

Imo the coach should tell Kobe there running the O more through Dwight and if this really is Kobe's team then he'll motivate Dwight to man up and get it done. I feel like Kobe doesnt want to let another bigman get his shine on after Shaq.

I think theyll figure it out eventually tho. Dumb fukks shouldve hired Phil. People out here used to routinely shyt on Dantoni when he coached the Knicks.

The problems are pretty easy to see. You've got 4 guys that want the offense to run through them and only Kobe actually gets his wish. The other three dudes have to adjust their games and accept minimized roles and Kobe is jacking up more shots than ever while the other three dudes get shyt on for not getting their usual numbers. When Kobe had to take a lesser role in the olympics, he looked :flabbynsick: as fukk.
Kobe doesn't even seem mad they're not winning. When he gets a chance to talk, all he does is play up his old age so he gets even more credit for scoring all of these points. Seems to be all interested in doing now, proving to the critics he can still score even if his team doesn't get any wins out of it.

Great points...so lemme ask y'all this:

Is it possible that this is posturing on his part to position himself for a trade? I'm sure he's still not too cool with Junior for not hiring Phil, either....? :manny:

I question the sense of anyone who didn't see Kobe-Howard tension coming 100 miles away as soon as the trade was announced.

You got maybe the most selfish superstar in NBA history who is known for criticizing and yelling at his teammates both publicly and privately and has no intention on giving an inch on his role as THE guy on the team, and demands the highest degree of work and professionality from everyone around him.

Then you have a wannabe superstar who also said he wants to be THE guy no matter what team he went to who is known for being silly and goofing off, sensitivity to criticism, and adding almost nothing to his offensive game since his rookie season.

Then you got a coach who doesn't command respect. It's about to really come to a head if they take a bunch of ugly L's on their upcoming hard schedule stretch, which seems likely.

The only guy left that would challenge Kobe or say anything to him was Derek Fisher and they got rid of him. :manny:

I think with Kobe, he respects hard work and commanding respect. He just from an old school era. Dwight is cut from this "let's have fun first, then we win together, but if we don't we can go out for ice cream together". Shaq has always been an a$$hole too, he's thrown entire organizations from top-down under bridges, buses and trains. But at the end he's always come back to "I'm the most dominant big out there so give me the ball and I'll go to work". Kobe respected that, and Shaq respected Kobe's willingness to work hard to take it from him. That's what Kobe respects, someone who has that attitude that "I'm gonna take this from you", and today's players are scared, so he doesn't respect them. It's the same with prior gens They respected those that came out and took it from them.

But you also have to be willing to contribute too. He's not willing to feed Dwight who has no footwork, gets pushed off of his spots easily, can't pass out of a double team, and holds the ball so low that guards regularly take it and after that he goofs off. Gasol is soft so if they're playing in iso-offense, he's useless. You can't really get mad at Kobe because this year, he's not even playing with the ball in his hands a lot. He still has his spells but mostly he's going right into his moves as soon as he has the ball. Sloan would've been a great coach for this team...well except for Dwight.

This current team needs some 3point shooters or finishers....because of D'Antoni & Nash.

My bad, breh, I didn't know you were a tough guy :whoo:

Go ahead and keep calling him a c**n for no reason. :mjpls:

It's not about being tough. If I don't feel like explaining myself or if I don't have an explanation for something, I'm not the type of person that's about to conjure up some ridiculous reason as to why I do it. Either you like it or don't.

:whoa: I get it, breh, you classify people based on emotion rather than logical reason. No need to explain, you're obviously about that life

Nah I don't think he wants a trade at all. It's pretty much impossible to trade him to a contender with the salary match rules the way they are and why would any contending team tear their team apart for him anyway? I think his plan is to win it all with this team while shooting close to 30 shots per game and if they fall short, at least he got 'his'. He could tone it down and try to win more as a team but that would just make him look :flabbynsick: and they might still not win it all or he could even end up with another 'sidekick ring'. He's off that shyt.
