I actually read that book. And while Kobe was an a$$hole it was also obvious as hell dude had a bone to pick with Kobe and was exaggerating a lot of shyt. If you ever read it again, cross reference some of the plays he describes in the book with actual video of the games. I thought my memory was fukking with me cause he'd describe Kobe looking off multiple wide open teammates and then I'd watch the video and see the author was talking out his ass. Made me not believe things were as bad as the author painted it to be.I would say read the book. Shaq was and still is beloved by many of his teammates. Many of Kobe's teammates from early in his career hated him.
That's why I mentioned the book, so it doesn't seem like this is me just spouting random nonsense. I will find quotes and post them later.
But again, a person like me who is familiar with Kobe finds it admirable how much he matured over the years.
