Reynolds was Deadpool

I actually think Reynolds could've been a good Deadpool if they had used him correctly. During Origins I kept hoping he'd turn to the camera and be like "Don't worry, brehs, I'm gonna be the real Deadpool later on ." and then yellow boxes and chimichungas start raining from the skies.

Naw they killed Cyclops off in Last Stand BECAUSE Mardsen went over with Singer to do Super-lame Returns and Reynolds did Green Lantern only AFTER he couldn't get the solo Deadpool movie off the ground. I'm sure nowadays with so much competition amongst the studios they would heavily frown upon having someone recognizable like Idris playing a LEAD in a competing tentpole

Nah fam. Reynolds is borderline obsessed with the Deadpoop project and even just a few months ago news came out that it was close to being greenlit. I mean, he was cast as GL only about 2 months after X-Men Origins even dropped.
