Call this a continuation, no one is seeing robin williams in that role. That said, this is a movie where modern cgi will make it cooler visually than the first

Most of the kids who end up seeing this will have never even seen/heard of the Robin Williams film. We're mostly in here thinking of it from our perspective, but imagine a kid in 2016 looking at that old Jumanji now like

what isn't creative and gives me pause is that someone said it's called "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" now and that they blast that fukkin song in the trailer.
