There have been young American men and women that have built fortunes off of tech, medicine, and other fields, but they get little to no attention or love because of the culture. There have been thousands more who could have done the same, but they (men especially) would rather chase ass, fast money, or act like it because that's what they grew up around, or exposed to.

For a whole lot of black folk, if you didn't at least give off the impression that you tapped into that late 90's, early 2000's "superthug" image, you weren't getting no play. That's a big reason why every other breh you run into in that age range has no pops.

That shyt due for a change though. Many won't like it:yeshrug:

people from all races/nationalities have always celebrated gangsters and crime bosses..from Al Capone to Pablo Escobar, so lets not make this a black thing
no they don't. I've been to Colombia and they hate to even mention the name Escobar and hate the destruction that he caused

Most Italians hate they're always being associated with the mob.

the couple people you met in colombia doesn't change the fact that he was in fact celebrated/ respected by other people in that country..its well documented.

and all of these movies & tv shows thats been made and being made about the mafia shows that they are in fact celebrated very much to this day.

and just to be clear, i know EVERYBODY doesnt celebrate these infamous people, my point is that their are SOME people that do.
