I am currently on a flight from Atlanta to Cleveland and sitting next to Ric Flair. He is on his way to watch the game tonight at the invitation of Lebron. He has nothing but the greatest of admiration for Lebron as not only an athlete but as a person. I was sitting next to him when he received the call about thePassing of the American Dream, and he was devastated. It is truly something to see a larger than life figure crying right next to you! Very humbling. He had just seen him yesterday and new that he was sick but had no idea how sick or any of the details. He said the only reason he is continuing on to the game tonight is because it is Lebron and it was a personal request. I just thought I wouldshare.
I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Terry Funk. He was heartbroken. He was reminiscing about dikk Murdoch, Dusty, and the crazy times in Florida, Texas, and Atlanta. He told me about a time when he, Dust, and dikk Murdoch pulled a rib on Nick Bockwinkel. The Outlaws talked Nick into driving out to the house Terry was living in outside of Tampa and stick a hose into Funk's bedroom window. What they didn't tell Nick was the Terry was going to be waiting with a sawed off shotgun loaded with blanks. Murdoch and Rhodes were there with Nick, who was sneaking the hose into the window. Terry comes around the side of the house, shotgun in hand, raving, "Gawdammit, I told you sonsofbytches not to come around anymore and lets both barrels go."
BOOM! Murdoch goes flying. BOOM! Rhodes goes flying. Both guys are lying there playing dead, and Nick takes off running. He was always dressed in a suit, because of the image he wanted to keep, and he's stumbling in the mud and grass and falling on his face while trying to run like hell from a ranting and raving Terry. Terry corners him, and Nick falls to his knees, crying and slobbering, saying, "Terry, Terry! It's me, Nick. Oh shyt! You just shot the Outlaws! Don't shoot me too."
Terry drops his shotgun, eyes wide. "I just shot Dusty? I shot the booker? Do you think they'll give me his job?"
They had some great fun. Now only Terryremains.

They did it at PaybackI'm leaving this here
RIP to one of the GOAT when it came to charisma
shame he didn't see his sons go 1 on 1 at Wrestlemania like they should have.
If he were born rich, he could've been the president.
