You get what you put out. Most NBA players are just "regular guys" this day and age with social media. But Durant has a history of being reckless and no filter when it comes to addressing his critics whether it be ESPN or random fans.

I think he was initially rebelling against the whole kid friendly nice guy boring image he had. Nike even made a whole "KD is not nice" campaign about it. Now it seems he's taken the persona too far and it's backfired
