Duran is the GOAT Lightweight and I'd take him over anybody at 135, so I'm going with him.

At any other weight, it's Floyd though.

And Duran isn't quitting against Floyd. Duran had a personal vendetta against Leonard, and he ended up taking his ball and going home. Wilfredo Benitez (a Top 3 defensive fighter ever) dominated Duran even worse than Leonard and Duran didn't quit, So cut the bullshyt out

At 135 I think Sweet Pea vs Duran would be a more interesting match-up, imo.

You said even an aged Floyd can beat Roberto Duran in his prime at 135...stop it:usure:

Yes, a prime Floyd beats Duran. An old one though?

You saying that Hands Of Stone wasn't good enough to even beat an old Floyd. AND he would need Robert Garcia in his corner to even do that or he would still lose:snoop:
:laff::laff::laff:

MT is super saiyan level with it breh.
Dude makes Kobe stans seem tame.

Duran at 135 was a machine...The man to this day is hands down the best pressure fighter to ever lace up at 135...Had all the physical tools to beat Floyd...speed, power in both hands, endurance with the ability to cut the ring off and effectively apply pressure...

Floyd barely survived Castillo who was a poor Mexican mans Duran (no disrespect to Castillo just keeping it 100)...Granted Floyd had a shoulder issue in the first fight but even in the second fight it wasn't easy...Castillo stayed in his chest which is the only way to beat Floyd and nobody did that better than Duran...

And because I know somebody going to bring up Packeyow...Packeyow never was a good pressure fighter...Big part of being a good lressure fighter is cutting off the fukking ring...Following dudes around the ring which is what Packeyow does is NOT effective pressure...

Packeyow never learned how to cut off the ring and preferred his opponents to come to him which is why he NEVER stood a chance against Floyd...Floyd doesn't come to you, you have to get in his chest and pound him like Castillo and Maidana did...

All that said this would have been a very close fight...When I confronted with a even fight like this I always bet on black excellence so obviously I pick Floyd but anyone thinking this is less than a 50/50 fight is dead wrong...

Lmao Floyd beat Castillo with one arm, and easily beat him in the remath.

You wana lose that fight to say Robert duran could beat Floyd

ROBERTO DURAN LOST AT LIGHTWEIGHT

to fighter than Esteban De Jesus lmao, even though beat him twice so there is your logic

A loss means nothing to you, but a close fight that's only close the imagination of idiots, does.

This is the type of revisionist history I'm talking about.

Not fight is easy, I never sad he would beat Duran easy, but he would be him, and it would be a clear decisive victory

I don't understand why he has to always go overboard with the hyperbole:heh:

I'm dumb posting in here seriously

It's not my fault Floyd is the best, that's the just fact, it it wasn't the case I would say otherwise, It's annoying for me to have to respond to nonsensical arguments.

You call what I say hyperbole, but can't dispute anything I say, so you get mad and go take your ball home.

Dude makes Kobe stans seem tame.

Once again you never can dispute my information, so you have to resort to name calling

Kobe was trash in his few years in he league, he's not a Lebron level player, he's not close to being one of the 5 players of all time, hs stans overrate

Floyd has done things nobody else has done in a sport he dominated for 20 years, there is no comparison, I'm just stating facts

and like a true bytches, you can't handle it

Duran lightweight run is so fukking overrated! How many soup cans did this dude fight at 135 ? Outside Estaban and Buchanan(and the ref did Ken dirty as fukk) his resume really aint that great.
Floyd would box circles around Duran !

This is the exact revisionist history I'm talking about

Duran has losses to guys who can't fukk with Mayweather period lmao, yet mayweather beating him is a stetch of the imagination

its ridiculous

lmao based on what

Duran can't solve Benetiz or Leonard, but he can solve the boxer who makes HOF looks like sparring partners

fukk outta here, stop overrating his old fighters

Duran's famous for quitting on his stool, he getting over shadowed by Leonard in his own damn movie, that ain't even going do Great White Hype Numbers

fukk roberto Duran, robert dinerio, and Panama

I'd say Duran wins at LW. He was Terry Norris before Terry Norris. Just plain mean & vicious & enjoyed hurting guys. When Duran fought Leonard he was already pushing 30 & had 70+ fights already. That's a lot of mileage & yet he still won.
