Yeah I pretty much got that answered by the engagement party scene...hadn't gotten that far. I didn't realize how serious that was taken.

The problem i have with prequel series (both this and House of Dragons) is it feels like technology and culture barely change. Whether its 200 years in the past or 10,000 years.
look how much our own planet has changed in the past 50 years. 10,000 would double the amount of time of human civilization in general and everyone still looks and dresses the same.
