Above the fray.
I mentioned the year for a reason nikka :gucci: 2014 Kawhi... Who was a great defender but was a 13/6/2 player and wasn't even the best or 2nd best player shyt even 3rd best for the Spurs in some of those playoff series in they 2014 run. He very comparable to 2015 Iggy. Obviously I'm not comparin Iggy to PRIME Kawhi tf :heh: 2014 Kawhi wasn't prime Kawhi he wasn't even a consideration to anyone to be an all star
In the Spurs system, of ball movement and exploiting matchups, numbers aren't a true indicator of player value. All time great Tim Duncan's career showed us that.

In the game when his number was called and situation called for it, Kawhi scored 29 in those Finals.

Kawhi in 2014 is still better than Iguodala in 2015 IMO

Iguodala is a way better playmaker though
That wasn't the point he was making in the comparison.

THESE nikkaS WERE 2-2
IN THE FINALS WITHOUT KD
AND WHEN KD WAS THERE
THEY WEREN'T THE BIG 3

IT WAS KD AND STEPH
THE BIG 2.

4TH RING
WIGGINS AND POOLE
WERE BIGGER FACTORS
THAN KLAY/DRAY...
SO STEPH/KLAY/DRAY
WERE LITERALLY THE BIG THREE
FOR ONE RING.

spurs didnt need to recruit any superstar of their time to win any of their rings

and duncan top 10 all time. i got them in terms of legacy.

if youre talking on court, probably gs depending which roleplayers each team has available

N1ggaz really be forcin Draymond in there

Warriors defensive ranking

2015 - 1st
2016 - 5th
2017 - 2nd
2018 - 9th
2019 - 13th
2021 - 5th
2022 - 1st

You'd have to be retarded or not understand ball to undervalue Draymond the defensive anchor for Warriors run. He was All Defense and mostly 1st team every one of those seasons, DPOY candidate in almost every season, won 1 runner-up a few times should have had 1-2 more at least, and was top 5-10 in DPOY every one of those seasons. He was the best defender in the NBA during that span.

He was also their lead playmaker and basically point runnin their sets in the run and led the team in assists almost every season. They have 0 rings without Draymond and that defenses would be below average to bottom 10 without him.

2 of the most successful Big 3s we ever seen. All 6 will be in the HOF. Both cores won 4 rings. Even had a similar level player win FMVP wit 2015 Iggy and 2014 Kawhi. Biggest difference Spurs Big 3 ain't have anyone close to KD those 3 years. Which big 3 you pickin?

Fair argument

Although ginobili and Parker were trash in 2003

And they weren't there yet in 99

So they were basically 3-1 from 05-14

And Duncan wasn't even in his prime anymore in 2014

So using your logic the Spurs big 3 was basically 2-1, and didn't have to play a healthy good healthy lakers team during those years
