"at the end of the day.."
*Someone loses a leg or finds out they have S3 stomach Cancer*
Sad thing is, a lot of women are trying to live by these retarded Facebook quotes.
you can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink it
This is actually true, though. And I use that belief in establishing who I should continue to pursue and who I shouldn't. The moment I ask a bytch if she wants to hang out and she says that she wants to but is busy or doesn't have time or creates some excuse involving her schedule, I throw her to the bushes. Because 1, she thinks her time is more valuable than mine and 2, she's coming up with excuses that will end in me wasting my time"If you you wanted to see me, you'd make time"
Bingo. Most overused platitude ever.
It's ridiculous. Light bulb flashed immediately because I heard it used recently and was I volunteer at a hospital nearby and was en route to wheeling a discharged patient to exit and this lady comes sobbing out of the elevator because she just found out she's been diagnosed with stage lll leukemia. Her sister looks her dead in the eye, gently caresses her hand while leading her out the door, and tells her "everything happens for a reason".
I mean.. the hell? You're better off not saying anything, rather than telling someone who is about to undergo radiation treatment that more than likely at this stage is only going to succeed in ensuring her death is slow and painful, that the ensuing physical and mental torture is "for a reason." Folks legitimately have no idea how foolish they sound at times.
Real eyes realize real lies
Oh shyt !
For me it's got to be the Socrates quote that's been twisted
into an excuse for ignorance by idiots everywhere.
"A wise man knows that he knows nothing"
or
"The only true wisdom is knowing that you know nothing"
or
"I know that I know nothing"
Said by every conspiracy theory crack pot, Highschool
Dropout or General Dummy who misses the point of the quote.

Be an existentialist, breh. It helps ease the pain of ignorance. That's fukked up for that sister to say that. Damn yo, cancer is that slow killer. By the time you know it's there it's more than likely to late to do anything. I met this one girl who told me she had stage 4 bone cancer. Home girl was only 33 years old
