See this is why you nikkas don’t know basketball here. Statements like that. You’re comparing the players and not the impact losing the player has on the team.
Coach K got 4 5 star players yet they couldn't play against the Heels, at home. Heels go 2 for 20 on threes and shoot less free throws yet they win on the road by 18
This Zion shoe fiasco couldn't have happened to a more deserving coach. People forget he condemned and ostracized players for leaving early for the NBA, now all a sudden the media got him as some elder statesman on NBA one and dones.
Coach K wanna be revered so bad like Dean Smith, but he hasn't done anything to actually change the game of basketball like the GAWD Dean.
Dean the one who supported players going to the NBA, cared for them as people. The equal opportunity GAWD coach

And his disciple has been carrying on the legacy to the tune of 3 chips to 2 since he been home. My favorite part of the last two years has been senior night. The genuine love these kids have for Roy, and vice versa, warms the soul each time. I know Roy prides himself on being someone Dean could be proud of, and he's doing one heck of a job. From believing in Luke Maye, to being there for Coby losing his father last year, to telling Jeremiah Francis that his scholarship is still there for next year despite blowing his tire.....just numerous examples of Roy being a standup guy in a cut throat profession. Roy is a great coach and mentor. Its more to this than wins and losses and K would never find the perfect balance like Dean or Roy.
