A lot of racist think this way. The idea that black have a unique rich culture and history that predates american slavery is foreign to them because they believe blacks are inferior and subhuman. he doesnt really want blacks to assimilate to white "culture"... he wants blacks to submit to white supremacy. he wishes blacks were still slaves who were stripped of their culture and history.

According to some, those were good times. A man was in the home, and men were men.
