See if you can get an i for them joints. Or work something out with the professors. Once I wrote an end of semester essay based on everything I learned and got a C bumped up to a B. :manny:

i almost whitdrew from a class and i went to see the prof
he basically told me to stay in the class
and gave me hrs to get tutoring
dude basically gave me a C

I never knew this. I must have like 10 W's on my transcripts from college, along w/ a bunch of D's and F's. :laugh: A young nikka just didn't give a fucc.


how u end up getting a job my breh? just apply everywhere? connections? my gpa is not over a 3.0 so i feel like i might have some trouble getting a job

I just dont think Id have much to say to the professor.. I kind of blew off the class :yeshrug:

I had to settle for what can only be described as the "McDonalds" of IT jobs after graduation only making 22k a year and then managed to parlay that into a MUCH better paying job based on the obscurity of the language I was programming in. Basically, got lucky.

hmm im currently in business information tech (concentration in operation supply chain management) at a really good school for BIT (ranked top 10 by some publications) do you think the reputation of the school might save me?

Definitely. It won't hurt to network as much as possible and sharpen your interview skills as well. GPA is only a piece of your puzzle. If they like you, they'll hire you.

i've been to the job fair and created a few good connections, sent in resumes and what not, but im sure my resume could be a lot better. also yeah, i need to work more on my interview skills and come off as more "enthusiastic"
