I think breh gets unfair hate/post automatically get judged due to the warriors propaganda, but breh is usually on point imo.
:dead:

Far from it. He's pretty clueless when it comes to basketball in general.
It's clear the offense is better under Lue, and K love is better utilized :manny:
It's not as simple as that - Blatt couldn't do what he wanted because the man that controls the franchise wouldn't allow him to do his job properly. I still don't understand the point of this thread when the Cavs under Blatt last season went to the Finals WITHOUT Love and Kyrie (although he did play limited minutes when he could), and the fact that getting rid of Blatt was the obvious move because LeBron wouldn't let him do his thing; which had an immense effect on the team as a whole.

So the thread is stupid because it is an accurate premise:patrice:

Good to see you arguing for me being right:ehh:
Nah it's stupid because it's some Captain Obvious shyt that was talked about months ago, even before Blatt was fired. Did you really think you struck gold with this thread or something?

So lets get this straight again,

You're arguing that the thread premise, firing Blatt was the right move, is wrong because firing Blatt was the obvious move:jbhmm:

Just want to make sure I have your stance correct for future reference :pachaha:

Atlanta had a better defensive rating that Golden State this season:yeshrug:

Second only to the Spurs who were record settingly great on defense:manny:

blatt swept the same atlanta team last year without love and a hurt kyrie. :dahell:

the major difference is lebron is finally playing within the system instead of just straight fukking around like he was earlier in the seaosn because he hated blatt.

Atlanta's defensive efficiency was 7th last year and 2nd this year:manny:

It might be the same players but statistically they were better THIS year

what makes this thread terrible? is it because you disagree? :wtb:
Nah it's terrible because pretty much everyone agreed in wake of Blatt's firing that getting rid of him was the right move, simply because LeBron wasn't responding to him. I don't see what purpose this thread serves, when we've already been over this ground before. And like I said, especially at this point of the playoffs when they swept the same team last season - except this time they have a healthy Kyrie and Love.

Whatever marginal difference you want to contest over the defense, is drowned out by the Cavs not having Love and a hobbled Kyrie when they swept them with Blatt as coach. :heh:

You're more slow than I initially thought. :heh:

Because there was a UNIVERSAL consensus at the time that firing Blatt was right and you're not rewriting the narrative right?:mjlol:

In case you don't remember, everyone was saying it was reactionary and Cavs fucced up just like the Rockets did and shouldn't have done it.

People were bringing up LeBron being a coach killer and that they were giving LeBron too much control:francis:

That Lue might not be ready to be a HC and it might waste the end of LeBron's window.

But now it was obviously the right move the whole time and the fact that there are still people voting that it was the wrong move on the poll means nothing:lolbron:

2 ppg is not marginal:mjlol:

Right in the fact that both parties needed to part ways as it clearly wasn't working out - a point which had been brought up ever since last season. Which is different to people saying the Blatt didn't get a proper chance to actually coach how he wanted. Don't get the two confused.
In case you don't remember, everyone was saying it was reactionary and Cavs fucced up just like the Rockets did and shouldn't have done it.

People were bringing up LeBron being a coach killer and that they were giving LeBron too much control:francis:
Don't you see that's why they viewed it as being the "right move", because LeBron ultimately had the last say and he clearly wasn't responding to Blatt, which not only was having an effect on his play but the team as a whole? And that the only way the team could move forward was to let Blatt go. :heh:
That Lue might not be ready to be a HC and it might waste the end of LeBron's window.

But now it was obviously the right move the whole time and the fact that there are still people voting that it was the wrong move on the poll means nothing:lolbron:
Well here's the problem - your poll option says "He deserved to stay", that gives the impression that he didn't deserve to lose his job in the first place - which I'd agree with. Because he did deserve to stay, but that still doesn't take away from the fact it was the right move to get rid of him for the benefit of the team.
